Based on the United Nations Sustainable Development

The United Nations officially launched the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) last year, which provide a comprehensive picture for each developing and developed country. The five P's of Sustainable Development Goals are: Social (People), Economic (prosperity), Environmental (Planet), Governance (Peace), and Implementation (Partnership).

The goal of sustainable development is implemented in international norms, principles, agreements and treaties to protect human rights and the environment, reduce ecological footprints, eliminate unequal development, erase the debts in developing countries, and stimulate the movement of innovation and technology. It also provides a direction and vision for global progress, integrates people and the environment to help international communities overcome the old economic growth, taking into account the balance, health, food, poverty, education, and climate change.

A.A. incorporates the spirit of the SDGs into its core philosophy to enable society and the general public to value the importance of health and purity for a sustainable future through anti-additive advocacy.

A.A.Origin of the public welfare plan

Although the association itself is a non-profit social organization,  as early as the establishment of the A.A. headquarter in the Netherlands, this group of international catering workers who are enthusiastic about public welfare have generated the public welfare plan under the concept of "Take from society, give back to society". They hoped that the association can fulfill its social responsibilities and contribute to the society of various countries.

Therefore, after the official establishment of Anti Additive Association, the association started from the catering field that it is most familiar with, and formulated the "Enterprise Adoption Program for Remote School Nutritional Meals."

In order to solve this problem , the Anti Additive Association actively called on enterprises to adopt and subsidize schools that originally lacked resources and did not provide nutritious meals, so that students could supplement the needed nutrients and energy.

Furthermore, in order to provide school meals that are not only safe but also healthy, the association invited nutritionists, physicians and other professionals to supervise and improve school meals, with aims of reducing artificial additives stage by stage and creating balanced nutrition.

Matchmaking process steps

1

Screen and select schools in remote areas based on public information.

2

Identify the resources required by the school and their related needs.

3

Look for private companies interested in social welfare.

4

Establish a resource exchange platform to match the supply and demand of both parties.

Goals

1. Assist in stabilizing the supply of nutritious meals in schools.
2. Help to improve school guards’ meals and exclude additives from ingredients and seasoning.
3. Promote the concept of additives-free ingredients and create a healthy eating environment through the additives-free movement of school meals.

Before the plan was officially launched, some companies had already participated and received positive feedback. Many school children were extremely happy about their nutritious meals; teachers indicated that children’s learning results were improved; students no longer came to class with an empty stomach. Parents were also thankful that the companies have not only solved the school meals problems but also enabled the children to have better knowledge of food additives.

We look forward to having you join us and allow children to enjoy a nutritious lunch without additives,  so that children can grow up healthily and have better learning condition.

Please contact us if you would like A.A. to assist you in participating in a social welfare activity in your country or region.
