A.A. Welcomes Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and Additive Free Kids as Global Partners
A.A. continues to grow its global partner network, working with organizations in the additive-free and sustainability space to promote a cleaner, more natural way of living.
A.A. has recently welcomed two new international partners: Campaign for Safe Cosmetics (CSC), a 20+ year U.S. coalition working to make beauty and personal care products safe for everyone, and Additive Free Kids, an Australian organization promoting additive-free eating for children, led by A.A. Honorary Advisor Francine Bell.
Campaign for Safe Cosmetics is a national coalition focused on the safety of beauty and personal care products, operating as a core program of the U.S. science-based advocacy organization Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP). Grounded in scientific evidence, BCPP works to prevent breast cancer at its source by reducing environmental health risks and exposures to harmful substances.
As a pioneer of the safe cosmetics movement, CSC protects people and the planet from toxic chemicals by educating the public, pushing the beauty industry toward safer products and more fragrance and other ingredient transparency, and advocating for health-protective laws that benefit everyone—wherever they live, work, or shop.
Headed by food coach and health and wellness consultant Francine Bell, Australian organization Additive Free Kids focuses on consumer education and family advocacy in food and childhood nutrition. The team works alongside parents to reduce food additives in their children’s daily diets to help improve their health and behavior. Additive Free Kids believes every family has a right to clearly know what is in their food, and its vision is to make additive-free food accessible to every family, anytime, anywhere.
From everyday food to personal care, A.A. will continue to connect with like-minded organizations worldwide to expand the global reach of the additive-free and Clean Label movement.
