“The additive-free movement matters because it pushes us to formulate more intentionally, with fewer unnecessary ingredients and more purpose behind every one we use.”
— Krupa Koestline

Krupa Koestline is CEO of Capsum kkt. An award-winning cosmetic chemist and biotechnology expert, she has built her career at the intersection of science, product development and beauty innovation.

After starting her career at Estée Lauder and Neutrogena, she founded KKT Innovation Labs in 2020, growing it into a recognized formulation partner for beauty brands. In 2026, KKT Innovation Labs was acquired by Capsum, and Krupa was appointed CEO of Capsum kkt — an entity bringing together formulation, innovation and advanced manufacturing, from early-stage R&D through commercialization and scale.

A pioneer in biotechnology applied to beauty, her work focuses on translating science into technically rigorous, manufacturable and consumer-relevant products — from more sustainable ingredients to new approaches in skin and hair biology.

Krupa is the recipient of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists' 2024 Florence Wall Women in Cosmetic Chemistry Award and has been named one of Beauty Independent's Top 30 Product Developers. She is a frequent speaker, writer and contributor on cosmetic science and the future of beauty innovation.
