CSC is a core program of Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP), a national science-based advocacy organization working to prevent breast cancer by eliminating environmental exposures linked to the disease.
CSC protects people and the planet from toxic chemicals by educating the public, transforming the beauty industry to make products safer, and advocating for health-protective laws that benefit everyone—regardless of where they live, work, or shop. As the original trailblazer for safe cosmetics, the coalition focuses on eliminating hazardous chemicals linked to cancer and other serious health concerns from beauty and personal care products once and for all.
Additive Free Kids
Consumer Education & Family Advocacy in Food & Childhood Nutrition
Additive Free Kids helps families reduce the food additives in their children's diets. Led by Frankie Bell, a food coach and consultant in the health and wellness industry, Additive Free Kids works with parents who want to remove additives to improve their children's health or behaviour. Frankie's motivation came from her own five sons, whose asthma, eczema, gastrointestinal issues and behaviour problems improved once additives were removed. The organisation believes every family has a right to know what is in its food, because children are the most vulnerable to additives. Additive Free Kids’ vision is to make additive free food accessible to every family, any time, anywhere.
